North Carolina Based Traditional Bronze Casting Foundry Invest on CNC

After 17 years as a traditional bronze casting foundry, Carolina Bronze, located in Seagrove, NC, has decided to expand and update their services to meet the needs of sculptors in the 21st century.

In addition to adding state of the art technology, including 3D laser scanning, 3D imaging and large scale CNC machining, Carolina Bronze has added an additional 4500 sq. ft. of space to accommodate their new equipment. With this new technology at its disposal, Carolina Bronze can now scan the sculptor’s original model using a Minolta laser scanner. Digital information that is so detailed, even the fingerprints of the sculptor show up, is then transmitted to the computer. This digital information is then fed into another program which changes it into a 3D animation of your project. We can then replicate your design in foam, wood, plastic or metal using our CNC gantry router. The more traditional process of making molds, waxes and casting can then be completed. Until now, sculptors had to go to California or Texas to take advantage of this technology. With the addition of these services, Carolina Bronze (carolinabronze.com) is now the finest full service bronze casting foundry on the East Coast. Some of our most recent projects include the 10’ figure of General Nathanael Greene for the city of Greensboro, NC's 200th anniversary and the North Carolina Fire Fighter’s memorial in downtown Raleigh, NC which includes four life size figures.Visit our gallery to see examples of some of our finished work and check out the rest of the website to learn more about the scanning and replication as well as the bronze casting process. When you are ready to turn your sculpture into a finely crafted bronze that will last for centuries, or use our scanning and replication services, just call or e-mail us for details.
